Other Comments: Too much for shaping, and watching as lions with fists
full of dew. Those dew-speckled pads that blew straight from their tummies.
How thresholding keeps that poor son-boy on path with the morning and rest of
his blasphemous days. From dealing with demons that blow from their insides,
his back arched in pain, and sulfur that rose from the placement of fingers
in sites that could sting you. And thrown as it was he could finely now see,
that nothing save wanting a new window to shout to the world. But dismayed from
desires that kept still his knees they are all now dancing with fists and good
cheerio stew. And in this some strange yes some strange tasting vision, of shells
as they lay through the back of lion's red beard. ON-lining as it were she's
formed quite a niche, that shaped and protruding towards museum egg-shells,
they glow and they glisten, their children dried to the lining. As though they
were glowing to show off their past, attracting the themselves up with make-up
for preying, and all are aware as their stomach start churning. They're wanting
some hope of an egg-shell plate breakfast. As most that could feel he saw things
breaking form them, that egg-shell description was breaking before him, unplanting
itself now with crawling and slimming for all. With no-one around he broke glass
and stole baby, the start of a change that could end the dark aging. (But visions
are one thing and what's it to all, for seeing as son had the same they would
render, and loved as he was the bird flew round his shoulders.) To the end of
their days the lovers danced into the sunrises. Rising farther than the rest
would say became them; wedding ring around the bird's pulsing throat for never
ever bleeding, son upon his finger gleaming for that tiny little island.

Other Comments: Basically, I just discovered this band last night.I listened
to "in the aerplane over the sea".It was excellent, and it seemed
likea concept album. I'm wondering if anybody has ever noticed that the whole
thing seems to be about Anne Frank? Maybe I'm crazzzy, probably, but I know
it is. born in 1929, died in 1945, from Holland, burried with her sister right
before the guns came. Yeah yeah. I'm sure somebody has notied this before.

myself but I really like the Godspeed you Black Emperor record w/ The Dead Flag
Blues on it.
Other Comments: I'd heard NMH a few times but hadn't paid too much attention,
just thought of them as the weird/catchy band with the song about Jesus that
I kinda liked which was strange 'cause I'm not a big fan of Christianity. Then
my best friend / lover died and another friend played Holland, 1945 on his guitar
and later gave me a dub of In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and I got really into
it. It always makes me cry (all the dead girl lyrics hit close to home) which
is alright because it's better than bottling up all those emotions. They're
music's brilliantly pretty and is one of the most right-on, poetic discriptions
of grief and mourning I have ever heard. I suspect that most of NMH's most diehard
fans are people who have recently dealt with the death of a loved one. What
are their shows like, do lots of people cry? I think I'm going to read the Diary
of Anne Frank soon, I've been really interested in the psychological baggage
of war and fascism (I support neither). In the Aeroplane Over the Sea addresses
both topics in an emotionally profound and timely manner, methinks.

levels. His lyrics are haunting and vivid, and his music is surreal and gorgeous.
If only he would release some more albums already instead of recording Hungarian

1954, oh comley, and in the aeroplane over the sea
Favorite NMH Lyric: ...was born with roses in her eyes but then they
buried her alive one evening 1954 with just her sister at her side and only
weeks before the guns all camed and rained on everyone now she's a little boy
in spain playing pianos filled with flames...(almost just about every word written
in the songs is like some secret door from within that has been opened from
a stranger, but not a stranger at all)

Other Comments: I was just listening to NMH and the music, the words,
just the spirit of it all is a force of its own. There are humans, great, unique
specimens of beings that are created to make music. It would be a shame if NMH
was never born, the music world is forever more the better for them being in
it.
